An artist is usually inspired by an outside muse before their creation process begins. This is the same with quality designer and niche perfumes. They are usually inspired by an event, flower, ingredient or idea. This inspiration guides the selection of ingredients and notes that are put together to bring the fragrance fantasy to reality.
Some perfumes are likewise inspired by certain locations and destinations. The collection of notes are reminiscent to a particular culture, tradition, city and even time. The perfumes below paint visual images and give the longing of some destinations. Some show inspiration through the notes of the perfume whilst others give clues through their bottling.

The bottling is a tell-it-all, it is made of transparent glass while the stopper is designed in the sculptural form of female legs in a golden colour.
Oud for Greatness by Initio, reminiscent of Dubia.
This perfume is nothing but praise and good news. With notes of Saffron, Oud and Patchouli, this unisex perfume lives up to its name. Although I rank this perfume more masculine than feminine, a good layering can make it dance to whatever tune.
The oud note in this perfume and its extravagant bottling with black and gold designs gives it the Dubai UAE look. Oud for Greatness is luxurious, prestigious and just as the name implies its a perfume every man should own.
