Mousuf Ramadi vs Mousuf Wardi

Hi, my lovely perfume enthusiasts! You clicked to read this article so I take it that you must be wanting to know the tea about these two mousuf variations available in the market now. When the first mousuf variant was released by Ard Al Zaafaran, it began circulating very fast and it was the topic of the town. Oh, you don’t know Mousuf, you must be playing. From its packaging to its oriental notes to its awesome longevity and projection made it a favourite in everyone’s books. I only know of a handful of people that didn’t dig the original Mousuf fragrance and their reasons were mainly because it became so rampant it was instantly recognizable.

Ard Al Zaafaran did a full 360 introducing new fragrances under the Mousuf umbrella. The original one was brown, they had a play with the colour of the bottling and the contents of the new fragrances that hit the market. Two new Mousufs; Mousuf Ramadi and Mousuf Wardi with their green and pink packaging respectively were released.


Mousuf Ramadi is a fragrance that combines fresh notes with warm and spicy notes. A special flavour! It starts refreshingly with citrus accords, then reveals petals of violets spiced in abundance with nutmeg, pepper and cardamom. The warm base of musk and amber is intertwined with notes of musk.

Gender: Ramadi was created for men. It has Citrusy spicy notes.

Top notes: bergamot, orange, lime.

Middle notes: violet, nutmeg, pepper, cardamom.

Base notes: oak, musk, amber


Mousuf Wardi on the other hand is a floral sweet fragrance. Its gloral notes are not superficially fresh, but gives more of a dry and mild floral scent.

Gender: Contrasting Ramadi, Wardi was made For Women

Top note: Grape chocolaty scent

Middle notes: musky oud

Base notes: distinctive floral and caramel
