From the standpoint of a buyer or consumer, you’d only be looking to buy goods and services that would benefit you. No one is looking to waste their hard-earned money, even if it wasn’t hard-earned, they won’t be tossing it at bad products or terrible services. As an entrepreneur, the question of how you can convince prospective customers that what you have to offer is of top quality should be one that you constantly ask yourself. The easy way is with testimonials and credentials. With them, convincing your prospects is much easier and it has a 99% likelihood of working if I do say so myself.
Getting credentials can come from taking courses to advance your skills, masterclasses and even from your previous customers. It is of top priority that you find means of asking your customers to review the goods or services you rendered to them. They can give you their assessments of your products either face-to-face or through a message back. You have to be open to sincere reviews which should be critical. Reviews are essential as you can use them to checkmate how your customers react to the quality of your products. It gives you room to grow and improve. You can pay attention to the parts of your business that receive bad reviews and work on making them five stars, and for the part that gets good feedback, work on maintaining and taking it to the next level.

The good reviews you get can be used as customer-given credentials for attracting new prospects. The testimonials from your reviews serve as people’s statements about your product or service. You can only get these testimonials when you ask for reviews from a ‘ready-to-improve’ mindset. You’ll get both good, fair and bad testimonials and when you get to work improving your business based on the bad reviews, the good ones can be used as customer credentials for your business.
With these credentials, either from your customers feedback or from a certificate of skill acquisition, you can convince your prospects that you are a qualified entrepreneur who is somewhat a professional at what they are selling. Your testimonials and credentials can also showcase your achievements of how you have helped a previous customer solve a problem. These credentials serve as visible credence on your suitability selling that product because your certificate says you are qualified and other people you’ve worked think you are awesome… winks*

In the world of business, never be timid about blowing your horn and screaming praises about your skills or products. It has been proven that there are three major ways to influence prospects to pick to patronize you in the world of business;
- Talk about how good you are,
- Have others talk about how good you are and
- Demonstrate or show how good you are.
These three ways you can achieve this by improving your skills whether by taking courses or putting in the work it takes to make you better or by asking for reviews and then using the positive testimonials as credentials to let your prospect know that; we are skilled! Others think our products are great and amazing! You would too!
