For Men and Women
Hello readers! I bring you another juicy review of one of my favorite perfumes. I know I say that about a lot of other perfumes I review on here, but oh my! Mousuf is really one of my favorites. Mousuf is a perfume by Ard Al Zafaaran. It is commonly labeled as an ‘arabian perfume’ because of its producers from the middle east market.
When I started retailing perfumes, I was anxious to get my hands on a bottle of this perfume as I had heard a whole lot about it. When I finally did get some to sell, I was happy and truly mind blown. Mousuf is worth the hype it receives, that I can tell you for sure.
Mousuf is a sweet Oriental fragrance. Its top notes are grape and chocolate, middle notes are musk and oud wood and it wraps up with base notes of caramel. You can see that the notes of the perfume are actually giving 🙂 Mousuf’s notes are appetizing and they offer sensuality and persistence to the whole composition.
Gender • Mousuf is a perfume for both men and women. Some people believe it leans more masculine and others are of the opinion that it is more feminine because of its sweet notes. For me, either gender can rock it and still body the scent completely.
Size • The original bottling of the perfume is in a 100ml bottle. It doesn’t have a carton but rather a sackcloth type of pouch. The packaging of the perfume mimics a water bottle used by tourists in a desert or safari, very unique. However, there are other imitations in 25ml and 50ml bottles

Star Ratings ⭐️ • Mousuf has a whooping 5/5 rating for me. This perfume ticks all the boxes. Its longevity is A1, lasting up to 48 hours! No jokes. You will still perceive it strongly on your clothes when you are washing them. It also projects so well into the air and encapsulates the atmosphere around the wearer. If you want someone to know you have arrived, Mousuf is the fragrance for you.
Price range in naira and Availability in the market • Mousuf retails for between N9,000 – N11,000 in Nigeria depending on the seller. It is very much available in the market and this is a downside for the perfume. Its popularity and high quality makes it a common perfume you would spot on at least one person in a gathering.
In conclusion, Mousuf is definitely a blind buy. I haven’t used this perfume personally but it has been my dad’s signature fragrance since I gifted him one. He keeps buying more and more when he runs out. When I start perceiving this perfume heavily in the evening, I know he is back from work. I’ll always recommend this perfume, you can’t hate it. Some people don’t like the fact that it is quite common, and Mousuf has solved that problem by opening a range of the perfume to more mousuf sub-scents. There is Mousuf Alya, Mousuf Luxe, Mousuf Ramadi and Mousuf Wardi, there are options to choose from!

Disclaimer! I don’t produce the perfumes I review (at least not yet), I am only reviewing based on my opinions, my customers reviews and my nose. I’ll try as much as possible to state the notes of the perfume and other details, but take my reviews with a grain of salt.
