Hello guys! This is going to be my first perfume review article out of so many to come . I am a perfume aficionado and also a perfume seller, so I’ll be giving my own insights on perfumes I have used, sold and the ones I own. Disclaimer! I don’t produce the perfumes I review, at least not yet, I am only reviewing based on my opinion and my nose. I’ll try as much as possible to state the notes of the perfume and other details, but take my reviews with a grain of salt.

The premier perfume review on this blog is Indulge. This perfume is produced by Pendora scents, they make really good perfumes, body sprays and other types of fragrances. I first used the 25ml miniature of this perfume when I started selling perfumes and oh my God, i fell in love with it. Miniatures really give you an idea of what a fragrance scents like, just not the same longevity and potency. Anyways, I got compliments every time off this perfume. I sold it to my aunty also, and she loved it so much she bought 2 bottles at once after her first one finished. I also sold a bottle of Indulge to my boss and I tell you, till the close of work, she literally still scents so good.

Indulge is a floral-oriental perfume which is actually a clone of L’Interdit by Givenchy created in 2018. Indulge has a contrasting play of white bouquet florals and intense woody and earthy notes. The concept of mixing these two opposite families of notes gives the perfume a trill. The top notes of this perfume are pear and bergamot, the middle notes are tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine sambac and its base notes are patchouli, vanilla, ambroxan and vetiver.

Gender: Indulge is a perfume for women. It has a brightness that isn’t afraid to stand out, whilst being elegant, daring and also very chic. However, I think a man can use this perfume if he layers it with a stronger masculine perfume to create a soft yet manly scent.

Size: Indulge by Pendora Scents comes in a 100ml bottle. You may find other clones and copies of L’Interdit by other companies in different mls however.

Star Ratings: This perfume is a no brainer 4.7/5 for me. I am taking away 0.3 points because its still not the original thing 😢 which I hope to lay my hands on soon. The longevity of this perfume is wow. It lasts for more than 12 hours. It may not be as potent as it was when you spritz it but the dry down scent lingers for long. Don’t get me started on its sillage! Indulge walks behind you in a room. You’ll definitely get a compliment or two wearing this perfume.

Price range in naira: Indulge retails from N8000-N10,000 depending on your location and seller.

Indulge is one perfume I’ll say is a blind buy. You can’t possibly hate it. It doesn’t scent too sweet or too woody. It has an insane balance. It is a type of perfume people would scent on you but won’t be able to fully figure out. I currently don’t own a personal bottle anymore, but I would definitely be re-adding one to my collection soon.
